My goals for the rest of the 2007 are as following:
- Finish up the school year on a strong note. My school ends on December 18th.
- Keep updating this blog on a daily basis and start making some money off this blog.
- Live life to the fullest.
- Keep meeting new people and network
- Land a job before 2007. Since I will have my degree, it would be nice to have a job starting 2008.
Some of these goals might not seem big to people but to me these are my priorities. My favorite motto is to live life to the fullest because life is too short to stay mad at something or someone. Get over it and enjoy it before it’s too late.
There are my goals. What are your goals for the rest of 2007?

There are a lot of people that would like to make the money that John Chow and Shoemoney make but in reality, John Chow and Shoemoney are the top 1 % earners in the blogging world. I would love to make what they make right now but in order for me to do that, I have establish this blog and set smaller goals so I can reach my ultimate goal of making $10,000+ per month off this blog.
Setting smaller goals
In order for me to get to where I want to be, I have to set smaller goals such as making $500/month and then $1,000/month and so on. In order for me to get there, I have to remember what I do best: blog on a regular basis. This is one thing that most people do not do and this is why they do not succeed in making the money they want to make.
I know in the end everyone is capable of doing things but it’s just that they do not want to put the effort into blogging or anything for that matter. I am where I am today because I have worked hard to achieve the things that are important to me (Getting a bachelor’s degree, doing good in school)
Have a partner in crime
Another thing to have in reaching goals is a person that motivates you or someone who is trying to reach at the same spot you do. You have no idea what a little competition can do for someone. I am a very competitive person and I do not need anyone to motivate to reach my goals but it does not hurt when someone says, ” You can do it Vik”.

I came across another inspiring quote.
“The heights of great men, reached and kept,
were not attained by sudden flight.
But they, while their companions slept,
were toiling upwards in the night.”

The above is picture of Shoemoney with a check from google of over $130,000.
This is a very important quote in terms of blogging but it can be applied towards anything. For example, if you had an exam and you studied your butt off for it, there is a good chance you will ace it or do well in it. This same aspect can be applied towards blogging. The more work you put into your blog, the more success you will have with your blog. The best bloggers out there ( JohnChow, Shoemoney, etc ) are the ones that work diligently and with a purpose in mind.

Everyone wants to make money but the hard thing is people are never satisfied on how much they make. The way to counteract this is to set goals. For example, I want a BMW 7-Series. A BMW 7-Series costs close to $100,000. I know I won’t reach this goal in one day or one month or heck even one year. Having said that, I still strive towards the goal every single day. Even if I put $5 in the bank for the BMW fund, it is $5 closer to reaching it.
Now that’s take this aspect and apply it to making money online. Let’s say you want to make $100/day. Not everyone makes that much money in a day. Heck currently, I am making somewhere around $3/day from this blog. Anyways, back to the making money online. If you set a goal and want to achieve towards it, I guarantee you will make more money. My goal starting in January is to make $100/day from this blog. This is why I am not concerned about making a good amount of money. In order for me to make money, I need to have good content and get indexed in the search engines. Mind you, I am still a full time college student and studying for my CPA (Certified Public Accountant). At the end of the day what it comes down to having the drive to hit your goals and if you have the drive, the sky is the limit.
