All right gang.  Today I am going to share with you a nice little trick which allowed me to get a $6 car wash (EXPENSIVE) for $2.

Here is the background.  It had snowed a lot and my car had a lot of salt on it.  I wanted to get a car wash.  I wen to my local gas station which had an attached car wash.  I went inside and asked them how much was a car wash.  The clerk replied, “$6 sir.”  I was goddamn that is an expensive car wash.

Here is the key part.  I asked if I needed a token or how did the process work?  The clerk showed me the token needed for the car wash. The token looked very similar the to the toonie ($2 Canadian coin).   So I went near the car wash and put in a toonie in the slot where the token was supposed to go.  VOILA!  It worked.

I am guessing this would only work if you knew that the toonie was the exact size as the token. After getting my car wash, I told all my friends and relatives about this.  They did not believe until they tried it out for themselves.  To this day, 26 people have taken advantage of this.  This means that I have saved people a total of $104.  I am sure this amount will increase.   This amount can really add up if you go through the car wash a lot.

For example, if you washed your car every week @ $6, you would spend $312 a year.  If you tried out my method and you were successful, it would only cost you $104 (52 * $2).  That is a savings of  $208.
