50 Reasons Why Life is Good

So I was about to go to sleep last night and I thought back to my post earlier about 5 things everyone should do everyday. I was reflecting on my day and thought to myself: Life is really good. So I compiled a list of why my life is good. I am sure you will appreciate some of these as well. Enjoy the list!
- I am alive.
- I am healthy.
- I have a roof under my head.
- I am lucky enough to eat everyday
- I have a great family (especially great and supportive parents)
- I have friends that are there for me when I need them.
- I have a job (currently working as as accountant)
- I have am emergency fund setup.
- I live in the beautiful province of British Columbia.
- I am meet with John Chow much more often that most people (John lives in Burnaby and I live in Abbotsford – about 35 mins away)
- I have great co-workers (shout-outs to David(OG) and Tracy)
- My boss is the shiznet (in other words, very down to earth and cool guy)
- My favorite team just landed Allen Iverson.
- I found $20 in my coat pocket.
- Detroit Red Wings are the defending Stanley Cup Champions (I live in Michigan before moving to BC)
- Barack Obama just got elected president
- I love my job.
- I get to read great blogs everyday (Shoemoney, Zenhabits, Money Ning, I will Teach You To be Rich )
- I know I can achieve whatever I put my mind to.
- I can get free books everyday (local library)
- I met a special someone

- I live a stress free life.
- i get to eat Miss Vickies everyday (only a little bit here and there. Remember, moderation is key. For those who don’t know what Miss Vickies is, they are Jalapeno Chips.
- President Bush is no longer president
- I have a college degree (Bachelor’s in Accounting, starting my CGA shortly)
- It takes me exactly 5 minutes to get to work.
- I drive a Toyota Corolla (great gas mileage)
- Gas is finally under $1.00/litre (It’s about 85cents/litre in the US and 98cents/litre here in BC)
- When I look out my window, I can see the beautiful mountains around me.
- I have clean drinking water.
- I have a blog.
- I am doing great in my hockey pool.
- I exercise everyday.
- I wake up at 6 am and am excited for the day ahead.
- I have the freedom to vote.
- I have a driver’s license.
- I have dual citizenship (I am a Canadian and a US Citizen..I know you’re jealous
)
- Money does not motivate me.
- My motto is “sharing is caring”. (I believe in Karma. If you do things for others, good things will happen to you. So if you share, others will share with you.)
- I watch less than 15 minutes of TV a day. (This gives me more time to do things that I enjoy rather than waste my time watching pointless shows.)
- I am saving almost 90 % of my income.
- I plan on retiring at an early age.
- I have clothes on my back.
- I know where I will be in 5 years from now. (Setting goals is very important)
- I have already started planning for the future.
- I can leave my house at 6:55 am and reach work at 7 am. (How cool is that)
- I can learn anything I want to on youtube (Youtube has everything from ironing to cooking, you name it)
- I can make people laugh. (Well that’s at least what I’m told
)
- I give 110 % every time no matter what the task is.
- I get 2 weeks paid holidays at work.
